Meet our team

Alexia Bakyt, a pre-law student at Brooklyn College majoring in Public Health, manages all our events and services. Alexia Bakyt is also our outreach and volunteer coordinator. She was a finalist for the Mayoral Youth Impact Award and is a Gold Presidential Volunteer Award holder.

Akmaral is a finance specialist with over 10 years of experience and a diverse background in law, economics, and information technology. Akmaral is a community leader, and at ACAA, she supports internal organizational operations, including community engagement.

Raihanna, a junior at Montville Township High School in NJ, joined ACAA to proudly represent her Uzbek heritage and give a voice to her community. She started as a volunteer and then an intern, and now she helps coordinate our youth volunteer work. At school, Raihanna is an active member of the Speech & Debate team and cross-country team. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar, reading, and hanging out with her friends!

Adam, a student at Brooklyn College in the Accounting department, provides financial advising and accounting services to ACAA. He also participates in campus outreach to spread awareness about ACAA's resources and programs.

Madina, who currently lives in NY, was born and raised in Kazakhstan. She works in operational risk management at CIBC Bank USA. She enjoys dancing and doing yoga. She is passionate about helping people. At ACAA, she supports internal organizational operations, including secretary duties, marketing, and event management.
